What do you mean when you say "Empower Great Artists to Succeed?"

We want to inspire the world with art. We believe in great artists right now, and help them succeed. Chauvet Arts is the premier source for distinctive artwork in the American South. We represent top local and regional artists, focusing on the styles, stories, and character that make this region so authentic and unique. Our mission is to empower artists and ignite greatness in all of us.

Do you offer installation?

Yes! We do offer professional art installation. For many purchases this is included free with your art! Just ask one of our art consultants to see if it applies to your artwork. If not or if you purchased your art elsewhere we will be happy to quote you a price. (installation cost is based on the size, weight, install location, wall material and destination)

Do you offer shipping?

We do offer shipping for an additional cost based on the size/weight and destination. We also ship internationally. Our team will work with you to provide a shipping quote and ensure your new artwork arrives in perfect condition!

I’m an interior designer — do you have special offers for me?

Yes! We do offer licensed designers special pricing. For more information on designer pricing and bulk purchases, please inquire here or schedule a private appointment with one of our  in-house Art Consultants.

Do you accept offers/give discounts? 

We intentionally price our pieces to reflect their value. By doing this, we ensure that our artists receive the appropriate compensation for their work while offering clients the most reasonable and transparent price from the beginning.

What is the First Saturday Downtown Art Crawl and when is it? 

The First Saturday Downtown Art Crawl is a largely attended monthly event in which a variety of downtown galleries host receptions and art openings for free! Normally occurring on the first Saturday of every month (unless otherwise announced), this event allows locals and tourists to view unique exhibitions and sip on complimentary wine at Chauvet Arts and listen to live music.

Do you accept refunds?

We do not accept refunds. We offer an exchange of the artwork for another piece of equal or greater value. The client will also be charged a 10% restocking fee. (This fee covers credit card processing charge, packaging, labor, and administration fees) 

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that it was received in. If it is to be shipped then the client covers the cost of shipping and insurance.

Do you only represent local artists from Nashville, Tennessee?

We represent a variety of artists from all over the world! We are Downtown Nashville’s premier location for local and international artwork. While a large percentage of our artists do reside in the American South, we have multiple artists from across the United States, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Are your artists available for commission work?

The majority of our artists are open to accepting commission requests that can be submitted through our gallery! For more information about our commission process, schedule a private appointment with one of our Art Consultants.

Can I resell items in my art collection through your gallery?

We do offer consignment options that allow current art collectors to resell their artwork through the gallery. To learn more and submit your artwork for consideration, click here.
